My wife is an avid quilter. One day when we were in a local quilt store, she showed me a ruler rack. She remarked that the slots (for the rulers) were to wide and allowed the rulers to lean on each other.
She asked if I could make her a rack for her rulers that would stand them up straighter. Below are a couple of pictures of what I came up with.
